Orion Nebula

While working on some star field backgrounds for our Trek/Hellsing thing, I decided to try creating a nebula. I used a picture of the Orion Nebula as a reference and spray painted it in Paint as a simple beginning. Then I blurred it all and worked with it in Jasc Paint Shop for awhile and altered the colors some more and added in stars. I'm actually quite pleased with the final result.

Basically, I just accidentally created a pretty painting of the Orion Nebula out of boredom. ^_^
